Building Surveyor - London - W

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to work within the public sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that don’t often have vacancies. The role is initially for the duration of 9 months with the likelihood of this being extended.  

As Building Surveyor you will:

Carry out pre inspections on housing stock, managing a kitchen and bathroom replacement programme 

Handle and deal with complaints as they arise in a professional manner

Undertake post inspections of completed works assessing quality and value for money using the schedule of rates

Ensure effective project management of maintenance contracts with a strong emphasis on partnering contracts

Manage a kitchen and bathroom and cyclical declarations programme up to the value of £2 million 

Essential criteria:

You will have experience working within a public sector organisation, preferably with over 5 years’ current experience within this area

To have worked as a Project Manager or Building Surveyor

A full, valid driving license and own transport is essential for this role

Experience of handling budgets of up to £2million and of working with the general public
