Assistant Quantity Surveyor (HS2)

Salary:  TO £40k + package

Based:  Warwickshire (B46)

Part of this project involves the biggest section of work, the West Midlands route.  It incorporates some of the most complex and interesting ground engineering ever done on a major infrastructure project in the UK. 

My client, delivering the work with their JV partner, require a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to either oversee or assist in overseeing key packages of work that will be anything from £5- 50m.  You will report into and work closely with the Section Commercial Lead but at the same time take an element of autonomy over the work you are delivering. 

The suitable applicant will ideally have the following background and experience:

• £25m + package or project management experience being commercially responsible for
• Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye on spotting commercial opportunity
• Commercially astute
• Ideally degree or HND level qualification
• NEC experience
• Looking for a long term role
