The Company

A well-established contractor specialising in power distribution and electrical networks. With a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking for an experienced cable jointer to join their team and support the delivery of high-voltage infrastructure works.

The Role

As a cable jointer, you will be responsible for the installation, jointing, and termination of 11kV and 33kV cable systems, ensuring all work is carried out safely and to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Jointing and terminating 11kV and 33kV cable systems

• Working with PILC, XLPE, Fluid, and PICAS cable types

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards

• Liaising with site teams and engineers to complete works efficiently

• Identifying and resolving faults on high-voltage networks

About You:

• Proven experience as a cable jointer working on 11kV and 33kV networks

• Competence in handling PILC, XLPE, Fluid, and PICAS cables

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures and regulations

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
