A contractor with almost 60 years of experience operating on the manufacture, design and installation side of things is on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Glasgow, Scotland. With an array of projects currently on their books and a few coming up on the horizon for 2025, they are looking to bolster their team with a Quantity Surveyor who has experience in the NEC contract type.

As a Quantity Surveyor with this contractor, you will take on a portfolio consisting of a range of projects that this contractor currently has ongoing and coming up. With a few of these projects nearing their end and a few in their infancy, you will be well placed within the team by the time the new projects roll in. As Quantity Surveyor, you would report into the Commercial Director who has an excellent track record of developing commercial Staff.

There is opportunity here to eventually manage projects on your own and is a great chance to progress and get to that Senior status. Someone with experience using the NEC contract type is needed here. With initial guidance from the Commercial Director on the projects when needed, this could suit an established Quantity Surveyor or an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to make the step up. 

Requirements

• Established Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to make the step up
• Structured Career History
• Good experience using the NEC contract type
• Commutable distance to offices in Glasgow
