This Tier 1 Contractor is one of the principal partners of Thames Water and is looking to build and develop their commercial team for the AMP8 period of works. This will cover a range of projects, from small maintenance projects to large heavy civil new builds.

As a company they pride themselves on being a leader in smart infrastructure solutions across the UK Civil Engineering sector. They focus on high profile clients, undertaking framework contracts at a nationally strategic level, aiming for asset optimisation and efficient programme delivery.

The role will operate under the supervision of an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, as well as independent work, so would suit an intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking to progress into a more senior role. The ideal candidate will be able to display strong financial and commercial acumen, with a practical and methodical work approach. Technical skills will cover effective office management systems, technical minute taking, drafting contractual correspondence, as well as payment certificates and financial reports.
