Senior Planner (Highways experience)

Rate up to £500 a day

Are you a Senior Planner with a solid civil engineering background, and experience of working on major highway projects, along with a knack for managing complex construction programmes?

This highly successful civil engineering contractor is seeking a freelance Senior Planner the opportunity to work on a high-profile project, contributing to the development and enhancement of vital infrastructure. As a Senior Planner, you will be at the forefront of planning and managing construction programmes, ensuring that all project timelines are met and changes are effectively communicated and managed in accordance with NEC contract requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on highways projects.
• Proficient in MS Project, Asta Powerproject, or Primavera P6, enabling you to effectively manage and communicate project programmes.
• Experience in managing construction programmes using the NEC Form of Contract, ensuring compliance and effective change management.
• Excellent ability to prepare and communicate project programmes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
