Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary:  £85k + package + travel

Based:  London (EC3V 9JU)

A major new civils project is underway in London, and it requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team!

The contract is being delivered by 2 leading engineering and civils contractors with an outstanding reputation both in the UK and internationally.  The Senior Quantity Surveyor will join the team at the start of the project and be involved in commercially setting the contract up for delivery, working with the Lead Commercial Manager.  You will form strong working relationships with the site delivery team, who are coming of the back of a highly successful major contract.  The works will involve heavy civils, complex electrical and tunnelling.

The suitable Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the following experience:

• 7 + years heavy civils experience
• Able to work independently
• Good negotiating and contractual awareness skills
• Degree qualified ideally
• Strong communicator
• Client interfacing skills
• Commercially astute
• Excellent NEC experience
